The Outer Landscape as a Mirror of the Inner Landscape

“Irrespective of where my path leads me I tread upon You, the Earth...With every landscape you reveal Your deepest being and open the door to Your eternal temple.”
Ana Pogacnik

We, as Earthlings are made of the fabric of the Earth. Ana Pogacnik, international Geomancy instructor, describes us as “one cell of the Earth” and through that we carry information about the Earth. Thus, we are microcosms of the Earth macrocosm.

During this workshop Ana will further our understanding of this connection between the human microcosm and the Earth macrocosm. She will guide us in identifying the energetic qualities of the particular organizations or “chakras” of the landscape. Participants will learn and practice various exercises and tools which they can utilize to heal and restore the land. Among these, Ana will lead us in sound, rhythmical movements, and guided visualization. These evocative activities will assist us in uncovering the deeply imprinted memories and solve mysteries that the landscape is carrying and offer to us as a mirror. Through this work, we can learn to recognize, understand and heal unresolved questions about ourselves and the Earth of which we are a part.

Please bring a potluck dish to share for lunch.

Earth, Body, Soul

How can the Earth inform us about our body and our soul? What can our body teach us about the Earth? This experiential workshop led by Bob Mackura of Soulworkers and Una Kobrin co-founder of Soul Tree Farm will focus on the inter-relationiship between our body and the body of the Earth. We will deepen our experience of how our relationship with the Earth and our body can support the awakening of our soul to help enrich our lives by expanding our soul awareness.

We will explore and activate each of the three primary soul centers using the energy of the Earth embodied on Soul Tree Farm.Participants will be guided in various exercises using sound, movement, story and guided meditation.

True wisdom arises when our soul can manifest from each of its primary centers-head, heart, and belly. Ultimately, all three centers have their own role to play leading to a richer and fuller life experience more deeply rooted in our soul’s unfoldment.

Please bring a potluck dish to share for lunch.

The Moon and Its Affect on the Living and Dying

What better way to explore the mysteries of our compatriot planet, the moon, when she is in all her glory and when darkness is gaining sway. And what better time than on the Day of the Dead. Death and life processes cycle under her seductive command.

Though more subtle and reflective than the sun, the moon holds great power over the ocean, our very being, and all of nature. Externally, we can see the tides and the growth of plants. However, other effects on our immune and nervous systems are less obvious. The effect of our moods, their steadiness or swing is dramatically affected by the moon. We will explore through observation, the gains of science with artistic experience, some of the many effects the moon has on our lives, offering us new wisdom and understanding of ourselves and the nature of our world.

One of the earthly ways we will explore dying will be in the building of a compost pile, particularly in accordance with Biodynamc principals. It is an experience that invites us to witness death and transformation. We will also observe the affect of the moon cycle on other life and death processes through science, stories, sound, and other artistic activities. With all this and more we will bring to life the Day of the Dead and experience the affect of the Moon.

Bring drums and other insturments to welcome in the moon at “Circling Stars Meadow.” Please bring a potluck dish to share for lunch.
